As replied by @devos50 to this issue, the json_util.py file in anydex-core came to be when the repo was migrated from Py2 to Py3. Is it the same case in the Tribler repo? If so, should a bug report be opened about it?
This kind dev talk should belong to the corresponding GitHub issue. Or a GitHub Discussion.
Also, opening an issue does not cost anything, so feel free to open any number of them. We will close the redundant ones
