Trying to install Tribler on Arch Linux, but all I get is some spinning cogs and ‘Loading’. Can anyone advise where to start debugging?
Installed with aurman -S tribler
Run with tribler &
http://localhost:8085/state gives me:

can you test and try to run with root privileges? For my configuration (ubuntu) is the only way it starts.
There’s probably an error when starting the Tribler core, preventing the GUI from correctly going to the next screen. Normally, this should crash the GUI however. Could you check the log files in your Tribler state directory (located at ~/.Tribler/logs) to see whether something unusual is going on?

I get a big long list of ‘events’, various media files discovered on various well known sites. That keeps generating. So how do I get the GUI to work then. It just stays stuck on the turning gears.
Sorry for the late response. It seems that the Tribler core starts correctly but the GUI does not trigger for some reason. Which version of Qt5/PyQt5 are you using?
