Unfortunately, Tribler ran into an internal error

Whenever I try to start Tribler I get an this error. I’ve tried reinstalling the program and everything but nothing seems to help. I sent a few error reports but am wondering if maybe anyone knows a way to fix this. Here is from the error…

It looks like your tribler.conf is corrupt.

Did your computer crash/BSOD lately? I would run a bad blocks test to make sure your hard disk is not dying just in case.

To fix it, just delete tribler.conf and Tribler will regenerate it with the default settings.
