I’m trying to answer to the question: is anonymous downloading/uploading is working?
When I try to download some random file I always get the direct connectio to the holder of the file:
I’ve read that some time ago there was 50MB limit to file, but now I can not see such a disclaimer.
Am I doing sth wrong?
You have to enable the anontunnel checkbox when adding the download.
The 50MB limit is not per file, but per circuit (A circuit gets built and once one of the intermediate hops counts 50MB went through it, it will kill the circuit, so the initiator will build a new one using different hops)
Is there any chance that my version i outdated? I’ve double checked and I’ve not got that checkbox (or anything else).
Which version are you running?
In any case, I’ll be publishing a new (hopefully the last) release candidate for Tribler 6.5 which brings many changes, so maybe you want to try that one once i post it to the forums.
