Until recently I had quite fast speeds with anonymous downloads (2 hops). But since one week all I see is “Building Circuits”. I have re-installed Tribler to see if that helps, but that did not help. I also tried deleting the .Tribler home directory. Still no change. Even a file that was downloading fine before, now hangs on “Building Circuits”.
Any idea’s?
I’ve been seeing the same thing since Tuesday 12/1.
I’m on 6.5.0-rc6 and I’m getting the same thing. The past 2 weeks or so have only shown “Building Circuits”.
Yeah, the network is too small to get decent speeds and the rental of the servers where the tunnel helpers that where used while the network grows, expired on Dec. 1. There’s some new contracts on the way, but University stuff is sometimes a bit slow.
They will be back soon. Let’s hope we can get 6.5 out soon so we can get a bit more adoption and the tunnel community gets more bandwidth from donors!
